Summary

Essential Duties And Responsibilities
- Manage full-cycle recruiting efforts, partnering with hiring managers to identify and attract qualified candidates while maintaining compliant recruiting records and reports for a variety of roles, including machining, engineering, quality assurance, operations, finance, etc.
- Partners with hiring managers to understand role requirements to design effective recruiting strategies
- Source passive and active candidates through various channels, including LinkedIn, industry or location specific boards, and military transition programs
- Screen resumes, conduct initial interviews, coordinate additional interviews and manage onboarding compliance
- Extend offers and participate in compensation discussions and negotiations
- Continuously improve job descriptions, postings, and application processes to attract high-quality candidates
- Create interview guides and tools for hiring managers to standardize and enhance the selection process
- Conduct new hire orientation
- Participate in and document employee relations activities, including disciplinary actions, investigations, and terminations.
- Ensure compliance with federal, state, and local employment laws, while maintaining confidentiality and integrity of HR records.
- Assist with HR reporting, recordkeeping, special events, and organizational initiatives.
- Participate in surveys and other benchmarking activities
- Performs other related duties as required and assigned
- Bachelor's degree - Business, Human Resources, or related field
- 7 years of progressive HR experience
- Full-cycle recruiting experience
- Experience with employee relations investigations
- Knowledge of federal and state employment laws and OFCCP guidelines
- Experience with applicant tracking systems (e.g., UKG, or similar)
- High level of accountability and willingness to learn and take on new projects and responsibilities
- Excellent communication, organizational, and negotiation skills
- Ability to work independently in a fast-paced environment with minimal supervision
- High level of interpersonal skills and ability to handle sensitive and confidential information and situations
- Proven ability to build relationships with and influence all levels of the organization
- Strong analytical, problem-solving skills and innovative work style
- Experience within a manufacturing and/or technical environment preferred
- Experience in the defense industry a plus
- Prior experience with payroll, benefits, and leave administration
- Certification such as PHR/SPHR is a plus
- Comprehensive knowledge of human resources principles, practices, and employment law
- Understanding of employee relations and conflict resolution strategies
- Knowledge of talent acquisition, onboarding, retention, and succession planning
- Familiarity with compensation structures, benefits administration, and payroll processes
- Strong interpersonal and relationship-building skills
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Policy interpretation and implementation
- Time management and organizational skills
- Confidential records management
- Proficiency with HRIS systems and Microsoft Office Suite
- Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment
- Ability to build trust and maintain professional relationships across all organizational levels

- Must be able to lift up to 25 pounds at a time.
