Senior Intelligence and Investigations Program Leader

GlobalSource is a growing, sector-leading, private intelligence company looking for a US-based experienced and motivated individual to join the team in DC or New York.

The company provides result-driven bespoke geopolitical and political analysis and monitoring, litigation support, asset searches, due diligence, background checks, competitive intelligence, and risk analysis. Our team is made up of highly experienced and dedicated international professional investigators, analysts, and consultants.

We are looking for a smart and independent individual to work closely with our staff in the US and abroad, working on and assisting with a variety of projects. The position demands excellent analytical, research, and writing skills, as well as critical thinking and strong communication skills. The ideal candidate will be fluent in English. Our team is made up of highly experienced and dedicated international professional investigators, analysts, and consultants.

Responsibilities:

Responsibilities and duties will vary based on the company’s needs. They will include, but are not limited to:

• Lead research investigations -including due diligence, asset searches, and litigation support, tailored to the needs of our clients.
• Contribute to research investigations led by colleagues.
• Lead/contribute to Project Cycle Management (PCM) of projects.
• Work as part of the team to ensure all reports are delivered according to agreed deadlines and within budget.
• Utilize and build on already established digital investigation and intelligence tools.
• Balancing multiple client projects and other responsibilities
• Contribute to increasing the research capacity of the company by developing additional resources.
• Manage junior team members.
• Contribute to increasing capacity of junior team members.
• Contribute to business development strategy as required.
• Opportunity to potentially travel.

Qualification requirements

Master’s degree preferably in:

• International studies/politics
• Journalism,
• Business
• Law

Professional Requirements

·      At least five years work experience in a relevant field.

·      At least two years of management experience.

The job position requires:

• Permission to work in the US.
• A strong academic background, preferably in a related subject.
• Strong English research, writing, and verbal skills.
• Ability to manage people and work with diverse teams.
• The ability to synthesize and analyze information efficiently and effectively. 
• Excellent organizational skills and being a team player.
• Critical thinking and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to work to tight deadlines in a fast-moving environment. 
• Resourceful and creative.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Word, Excel, Outlook, and web research experience. 
• Additional foreign language abilities are an asset.
• Previous experience working in the research/intelligence fields is an advantage.
• Previous experience of PCM is an advantage.
