Demolition Company looking for an organized, outgoing demolition estimator.
The ideal candidate will enjoy multi-tasking and can prioritize. You need to be proactive with a "can do" approach and able to use your initiative.
Teamwork and strong communication skills are essential as well as an enthusiastic, driven work ethic.
If you have no demolition estimating experience, that may be fine as long as you are a self-starter and willing to learn.
**Daily Responsibilities:
**
Analyze drawings and specifications of potential projects
Perform quantity takeoffs using onscreen takeoff programs
Prepare bid estimates and proposals for demolition projects
Review work to comply with standard estimating practices and any prevailing wage or special pay rates
Coordinate with other company estimators throughout bid process
Communicate bid proposals and estimates on awarded projects to project managers
All other tasks as required
**Preferred Qualifications:
**
Strong background in Microsoft Office, Excel, and Adobe
Excellent verbal and written communication skills
Ability to navigate specifications and plans
Proficiency in the use of onscreen takeoff software
**Education and Experience
**:
High School Diploma
3-5 years of demolition or commercial construction estimating experience
Salary : $80,000 - $90,000
