Position Summary
The Project Manager will lead multiple restaurant construction projects across Texas and the surrounding region. You will be responsible for managing all aspects of project delivery—from pre-construction planning through punch-list and closeout—ensuring each job meets our high standards of quality, safety, and client satisfaction.
Key Responsibilities
1. Project Planning & Execution
- Develop and manage comprehensive project schedules, budgets, and scopes.
- Coordinate with internal teams, architects, engineers, and subcontractors to deliver projects on time and within budget.
- Monitor job progress and proactively address issues to avoid delays or cost overruns.
2. Leadership & Team Collaboration
- Foster a culture that exemplifies our values: be Humble in leadership, Hungry for growth, and People Smart in interactions.
- Provide direction and mentorship to Assistant Project Managers, Superintendents, and field staff.
- Lead by example—build trust through consistency, communication, and competence.
3. Client & Stakeholder Communication
- Serve as the primary liaison between clients, design professionals, city officials, and vendors.
- Conduct regular project meetings and deliver consistent updates on progress, changes, and challenges.
- Manage expectations with professionalism, clarity, and a solution-oriented mindset.
4. Financial Management
- Track and manage project costs, change orders, subcontractor contracts, and purchase orders.
- Collaborate with accounting and leadership teams on forecasting and cash flow projections.
- Ensure proper documentation and reporting in Procore and client portals.
5. Safety & Quality Control
- Promote and enforce commitment to jobsite safety and quality workmanship.
- Review and ensure compliance with local, state, and national building codes.
- Participate in safety audits and ensure corrective actions are taken when necessary.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in construction management, Engineering, or equivalent experience preferred.
- 5–10 years of experience managing commercial construction projects, with direct experience in restaurant construction.
- Proficiency in construction management software (Procore, Smartsheet, MS Project, etc.).
- Ability to travel up to 50% across job sites.
- Strong communication, organizational, and leadership skills.
