Job Overview
We are seeking a Senior Digital Accessibility Specialist to lead and scale enterprise accessibility initiatives. This role focuses on building, implementing, and sustaining an organization-wide digital accessibility program across web, applications, and digital content.
Key Responsibilities
Assess current digital accessibility posture across platforms
Identify non-compliant digital assets including websites, applications, PDFs, forms, and kiosks
Design and implement enterprise accessibility frameworks, governance models, and policies
Establish testing and remediation workflows
Develop automated and manual accessibility validation processes
Integrate accessibility into design, development, procurement workflows, and CI/CD pipelines
Provide strategic guidance, training, and ongoing accessibility reviews
Collaborate with cross-functional teams and external partners
Support long-term sustainability and maturity of accessibility programs
Required Qualifications
5 years of experience in digital accessibility including auditing, remediation, and program development
Deep expertise in WCAG 2.1 AA / AAA, Section 508, and ADA Title II
Strong experience with assistive technologies such as screen readers, magnifiers, voice input, and switch devices
Proven experience designing enterprise accessibility frameworks and governance models
Hands-on experience with accessibility testing tools such as axe, JAWS, and NVDA
Experience integrating accessibility checks into CI/CD pipelines
Preferred Qualifications
Experience in large-scale or government accessibility initiatives
Experience with mobile accessibility testing
Familiarity with content management systems such as WordPress
Understanding of embedding accessibility into CMS workflows
Certifications such as IAAP CPAC, CPWA, CPACC, WAS or equivalent
Knowledge of inclusive design methodologies, user research with people with disabilities, and plain-language content strategies
