Job Summary

Duties

• Safely operate a variety of trucks including tractor-trailers, flatbeds, refrigerated trailers, tankers, dump trucks, roll-off trucks, and other commercial vehicles.
• Load and unload freight efficiently while adhering to safety protocols.
• Drive assigned routes with precision, following all traffic laws and company policies.
• Conduct pre-trip and post-trip inspections to ensure vehicle safety and compliance.
• Maintain accurate delivery logs, route documentation, and delivery records.
• Communicate effectively with dispatchers, customers, and team members regarding delivery status or any issues encountered on the road.
• Assist with forklift operation or other equipment as needed for loading or unloading cargo.

Skills

• Proven experience in truck driving, including delivery routes and route driving.
• Proficiency in handling various truck types such as flatbeds, refrigerated trailers, tankers, dump trucks, and roll-off trucks.
• Strong knowledge of manual transmission vehicles and the ability to operate them safely.
• Experience with freight handling—load & unload procedures across different cargo types.
• Ability to drive a tractor-trailer confidently over long distances or local routes.
• Familiarity with safety standards related to commercial driving and cargo securement.
• Additional skills such as forklift certification or tanker endorsement are a plus but not required. Join us now if you’re ready to start immediately!
