The Role – Associate Veterinarian
This is a full-time GP small-animal role with flexibility in scheduling to support work-life balance. Duties include a broad mix of general practice and surgical responsibilities, tailored to your strengths and interests.
Day-to-day responsibilities include:
- Performing routine consultations and complete physical examinations
- Delivering wellness and preventative care, including vaccinations, parasite prevention, nutritional counseling, and senior pet care
- Conducting and interpreting diagnostics such as digital radiographs, ultrasound, cytology, bloodwork, and in-house laboratory tests
- Managing a variety of internal medicine cases, including dermatology, endocrinology, gastrointestinal, and chronic disease management
- Performing surgical procedures including spays, neuters, mass removals, wound management, and soft tissue surgeries (orthopedic opportunities if interested)
- Providing comprehensive dentistry services, including cleanings, digital dental radiographs, and extractions
- Creating detailed and personalized treatment plans while maintaining accurate medical records
- Communicating clearly and compassionately with clients to ensure they understand diagnoses, treatments, and preventive care options
- Collaborating with colleagues on challenging cases, supporting a culture of teamwork and continuous learning
- Mentoring and guiding newer graduates or team members, contributing to a positive and educational environment

Candidate Requirements
To be considered, candidates must have:
- DVM/VMD degree or equivalent from an AVMA-accredited university
- NAVLE certification
- ECFVG or PAVE (if attended a non-AVMA accredited program)
- DEA, State, and USDA licenses (or ability to obtain)
- Proficiency in general medicine, dentistry, and surgery
- Strong communication, teamwork, and client relationship skills
