Role Description
This is a full-time hybrid role based in San Antonio, TX, with some work-from-home flexibility. As a Founding Sales Engineer, you will act as the primary technical resource during the sales process, bridging the gap between technical solutions and customer needs. You will develop technical demonstrations, provide exceptional technical support to customers, and collaborate with the sales team to identify client requirements and deliver tailored solutions. Additionally, you will play a key role in spearheading technical workshops and explaining the value of GTP's products to potential clients.
Qualifications
- Experience in Sales Engineering and working with technical products to solve client needs
- Strong skills in Technical Support and the ability to troubleshoot efficiently and effectively
- Excellent Communication and interpersonal skills to explain complex technical solutions to diverse stakeholders
- Background in Sales and the ability to translate customer requirements into tailored solutions
- Outstanding Customer Service skills and a customer-focused approach
- Proficiency in industry-standard tools, with an ability to learn proprietary systems like GTP’s ZLI technology
- Bachelor's degree in a technical field (e.g., Computer Science, Engineering) or equivalent experience
- Experience in logistics, fleet management, or InsurTech is a strong plus
