Job Summary
Title: Registered Nurse - PCU
Shift: Night 3x12-Hour (18:45 - 07:15)
Location: Rochester, NY
Travel pay: $2100 - $2280/wk
Duration: 13 weeks
Duties
- Conduct thorough patient assessments, including vital signs, physical examinations, and physiological evaluations to determine care needs.
- Administer medications and treatments accurately, including IV infusions, injections, and specialized therapies such as botulinum toxin treatment.
- Monitor patients continuously for signs of deterioration or complications, especially in high-acuity settings such as ICU or trauma centers.
- Collaborate with physicians and other healthcare professionals to develop and implement individualized care plans aligned with best practices.

- Special requirement: Need to be able to take a 1:5 to 1:7 patient ratio for MedSurg
- Floating: Required
- Cert: BLS Required
- Charting: Must have EPIC experience
- Cardiac Monitoring and Emergency response: Interpretation of dysrhythmias, Management of dysrhythmias, Use of Rapid Response/Code teams
IV therapy/Phlebotomy: Peripheral Line Care/Management
Respiratory: Nasal Cannula, Oxygen face masks, Portable Oxygen tank, Non-invasive airway management
