Job Overview
Job Title- Radiation Therapist
Location:- Eureka, CA
Job Type:- 13-week contract
Shifts:- Morning 8am to 4:30pm
Guaranteed Hours (Weekly) : 40 -hour guaranteed
Pay Rate : $3200 - $3500/wk
Duties
- Administer radiation treatments accurately and safely according to prescribed protocols, ensuring patient comfort and safety at all times.
- Operate advanced imaging equipment, including CT scanners, to assist in treatment planning and verification processes.
- Collaborate closely with oncologists, radiologists, and medical physicists to develop and implement individualized treatment plans.
- Monitor patient responses during therapy sessions, adjusting procedures as necessary while maintaining strict adherence to safety standards.
Qualifications
- Certification or licensure as a Radiation Therapist from an accredited program
- Proven experience in radiation therapy procedures within a clinical setting; critical care experience is a plus.
- Radiation Therapist. Radiation Oncology (CC)- Day Shift 40 hour week, 8 hour shifts, start time 8am.
- Administers ionizing irradiation to patients in accordance with prescriptions and instructions from department physicians.
- Bachelors Degree in radiological technology or equivalent (some certifications will require Bachelors): Preferred
- Master's Degree: Preferred-Experience in radiologic technology: Preferred
Pay: $3,200.00 - $3,500.00 per week
