Job Summary:
The Counter Sales Associate is responsible for driving sales and ensuring an exceptional customer experience through daily store operations and warehouse support. This role is primarily a warehouse-focused position (80%) with additional responsibilities in customer service, inventory management, and sales support in a fast-paced environment.
The Counter Sales Associate is responsible for driving sales and ensuring an exceptional customer experience through daily store operations and warehouse support. This role is primarily a warehouse-focused position (80%) with additional responsibilities in customer service, inventory management, and sales support in a fast-paced environment.
Key Responsibilities:
- Drive sales and ensure an exceptional customer experience through daily store operations and expert product knowledge
- Manage inventory and record shipments
- Maintain the store's appearance
- Perform occasional managerial tasks such as scheduling, ordering, and overseeing opening and closing procedures
- Support warehouse operations including loading customer/dealer vehicles
- Operate forklifts (electric sit down/stand up and propane)
- Handle basic customer service and phone interactions
- Perform cycle counts and inventory tracking
Required Experience:
- High school diploma or GED required
- Heavy warehouse experience required
- Forklift experience required (electric sit down/stand up and propane)
- Ability to load customer/dealer vehicles safely
- Strong organizational and communication skills
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment
- Strong customer service demeanor
Nice-to-Have Experience:
- Cycle counting and inventory control experience
- Retail or counter sales experience
