Overview
Title: Clinical Laboratory - Supervisor
Location: The Dalles, OR
Shift: 5 x 8 hour Days
Travel Pay: $3000/week
Responsibilities
- Supervise daily laboratory activities, ensuring adherence to established protocols and regulatory standards.
- Oversee specimen collection, processing, and analysis using techniques such as ELISA, PCR, flow cytometry, immunoassays, RNA extraction, DNA isolation, and blood sampling.
- Manage laboratory staff by providing training, guidance, and performance evaluations to foster a collaborative team environment.
- Implement and monitor quality control (QC) and quality assurance (QA) procedures to uphold accuracy and reliability of test results.
- Coordinate with clinical teams or research personnel to facilitate specimen collection, data collection, and analysis for clinical trials or research projects.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Medical Laboratory Science, Biology, Chemistry, or related field; advanced degrees preferred.
- Supervisor experience required. 5 years of experience required. Needs to be a medical lab scientist either ASCP or AMT certified.
- Needs to be bachelor degree medical lab scientist. Needs to be flexible and have experience with lab joint commission standards.
- Staffing Ratios: Med techs and phlebotomists are staffed equal numbers for each shift Days: 2 of each Evenings: 2 of each Nights: 1 of each
- Weekends:1 of each for day, 1 of each for evening, 1 of each for night Call: Some weekend call shifts Float Required: No Weekend Coverage: Yes

Pay: Up to $3,000.00 per week
