Provides psychiatric nursing care in a behavioral health setting, supporting patients with mental health conditions and crisis intervention.
Requirements:
- Minimum 5 years Psych RN experience
- 2 years travel experience (required)
- NY State RN License – Required
- BLS Certification – Required
- CPI Certification – Required
Key Details:
- Travel experience must show renewals
- Previous staff not eligible as travelers
- Facility may cancel up to 5 shifts during 13-week assignment
Responsibilities:
- Monitor and assess psychiatric patients
- Manage crisis situations and ensure patient safety
- Administer medications and follow treatment plans
