- Position Type: Contract
- Contract Duration: 6 months with potential extension or conversion to direct hire

- Pay Rate: $48.75/hr
- Hours: 40 hours/week
- Core Hours: 9:00 AM - 3:00 PM Central
- Manage rotating equipment such as compressors, blowers, and pumps
- Support multiple small capital projects valued up to $1M
- Work with pressure vessels and gas-processing equipment
- Collaborate with project engineering, maintenance, controls, electrical, and process teams
- Oversee the entire lifecycle of mechanical equipment—specification, selection, procurement, commissioning, and maintenance.
- Ensure all pressure vessel and piping designs comply with ASME Section VIII, Div. 1 and ASME B31.3.
- Collaborate with cross-functional engineering teams to safely design and commission new equipment and systems.
- Provide technical support for rotating equipment, including troubleshooting, reliability improvements, and maintenance strategies.
- Assist in project engineering activities, including scope definition, schedule coordination, budgeting, and progress reporting.
- Support continuous improvement and ensure systems operate safely, efficiently, and reliably.
- Travel up to 50% to support project needs across regional facilities.
- Work effectively in fast-paced industrial environments with shifting priorities.
- Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering or related field (Master’s preferred).
- 4-8 years of experience in industrial, manufacturing, gas processing, or chemical environments.
- Working knowledge of ASME Boiler & Pressure Vessel Code (Sec VIII, Div 1) and ASME B31.3.
- Experience with industrial rotating equipment and mechanical systems.
- Strong leadership skills with proven ability to motivate cross-functional teams.
- Strong communication, problem-solving, and interpersonal skills.
- Hands-on mechanical and troubleshooting ability.
- Experience in biogas, renewable energy, or waste treatment preferred.
- Understanding of commercial agreements and customer relations (preferred).
- Ability to travel up to 50%, work in industrial environments, and adapt to fast-paced project needs.
- Must be legally authorized to work in the U.S. without sponsorship.
- Direct design or operational experience with centrifugal blowers, oil-flooded screw compressors, or industrial mixers.
- Experience managing small capital projects, including cost and schedule management.
- Experience in gas processing, oil & gas, or chemical industries.
- Military technical training.
- Knowledge of industrial gases and pipeline safety.
