- Travel Requirements: Will float between hospital units, including Colby and Pacific campuses (less than 2 miles from each other). Weekends required—every other weekend.

- Guaranteed Hours: 72 hours per 2 week period
Job Summary: This is a contract position for a Registered Nurse or Master of Social Work (MSW) professional in a Level II Trauma Center with 571 total staffed beds across two nearby campuses. The role requires acute care experience and discharge planning/care coordination expertise, with a strong preference for candidates with diverse case management experience across medical-surgical, long-length-of-stay, and emergency department settings. The position offers guaranteed hours of 72 hours per 2-week period, facility-paid parking, and the ability to chart on EPIC. Scrub colors are flexible (no reddish orange permitted).
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide acute care services and discharge planning support
- Coordinate care across hospital units and campuses
- Float between all hospital areas as needed, including both Colby and Pacific campuses
- Work every other weekend as scheduled
Education Requirements:
- BLS certification required
- RN Licensure required
- Master of Social Work (MSW) degree or equivalent social work credential
- Pending license accepted
Required Experience:
- Minimum 1 year of healthcare or social work experience required
- Acute Care Experience required
- Discharge Planning and/or Care Coordination Experience required
- First-timers accepted: Yes
Preferred Skills:
- Diverse case management experience in medical-surgical, long-length-of-stay (LLOS), and emergency department (ED) settings

- EPIC charting proficiency

- Ability to work in a Level II Trauma Center environment
