Job Summary
Program Manager, Sr – Electric Operational Boundaries leads a portfolio of cross-functional initiatives focused on aligning operational structures (asset data), enterprise systems (SAP, ESRI), and data governance to ensure consistency across field operations and digital platforms. This role is responsible for managing projects as part of a larger program that address boundary-related conflicts across systems such as GIS, Asset Knowledge Management (AKM), and other enterprise applications, with a particular focus on improving the integrity and alignment of both asset and non-asset data. This role drives end-to-end program execution, including intake, prioritization, planning and delivery of solutions that resolve discrepancies between operational design and system representation, ultimately improving work assignment accuracy, dispatch efficiency, reporting consistency, and compliance outcomes.
This position serves as the central point of coordination across multiple interdependent workstreams across the Utility, including data alignment, system integration, and governance enablement. The Program Manager partners with operations, engineering, IT, and data management teams to identify gaps across GIS system, scheduling, and Electric business unit workflow systems, and to implement scalable solutions that standardize processes and improve end-to-end data flows. Key responsibilities include managing program roadmaps, overseeing financials and forecasting, ensuring adherence to governance and compliance requirements, and providing transparent reporting to leadership. The role also acts as an escalation point for complex data and system-related issues particularly those involving non-asset data structures, cross-system dependencies, and regional or organizational boundary changes while enabling informed decision-making through structured analysis and stakeholder alignment. Success in this role requires strong program leadership, the ability to navigate ambiguity across interconnected systems, and a focus on delivering measurable operational and data quality improvements, with flexibility to expand into adjacent enterprise domains as the portfolio evolves.
