- Investigate complex associate complaints involving policy violations, unethical behavior, or workplace disputes.
- Identify issues requiring investigation and conduct impartial fact-finding using documents, data, and witness interviews.
- Determine whether allegations are substantiated and draft detailed, accurate summaries of findings.
- Present findings and recommended actions to HR Business Partners and management.
- Evaluate risk exposure and ensure consistent application of organizational policies.
- Advise leadership on correcting misconduct, performance issues, and resolving associate concerns.
- Counsel managers and employees related to behavior, conduct expectations, and disciplinary actions.
- Facilitate communication to resolve conflicts between associates and management.
- Provide HR training programs, as needed, related to workplace conduct, communication, and compliance.
- Assist in strategic projects to strengthen the investigation process and improve operational efficiency.
- Analyze employee relations trends to identify root causes, risk indicators, and opportunities for organizational improvement.
- Deliver strategic insights and data-driven recommendations to leadership.
- Build strong relationships with HR Business Partners, HR Advisory Services, Legal, DEI, Special Investigations, and other internal partners.
- Act as a trusted resource in high-impact ER matters and promote a consistent, fair approach across the organization.
- Work independently and exercise a high level of discretion and judgment.
- Communicate effectively in writing and verbally.
- Maintain professionalism, adhere to company values, and meet attendance expectations.
- Bachelor’s degree in HR, Business Administration, or related field (preferred).
- Professional HR certification (PHR, SHRM) preferred.
- Minimum 3 years of experience leading HR investigations.
- Demonstrated knowledge of employment law and HR best practices.
- Experience working in high-volume, fast-paced environments with diverse and dispersed teams.
