The Electrical Engineer will support infrastructure and energy-related projects within a large-scale utility environment. This role is ideal for early to mid-career engineers seeking to grow their expertise while contributing to complex electrical engineering initiatives across industrial and energy facilities. The engineer will collaborate with cross-functional teams including project managers, engineers, and field personnel to support the design, planning, and implementation of electrical systems. The role focuses on ensuring projects are executed safely, efficiently, and in compliance with applicable engineering standards and regulatory requirements.
Key Responsibilities- Support electrical engineering activities for infrastructure and energy-related projects
- Assist in the design, planning, and execution of electrical systems and components
- Collaborate with engineering teams, project managers, and field personnel to ensure project requirements and timelines are met
- Review electrical drawings, specifications, and technical documentation
- Provide technical input for electrical project planning, installation, and commissioning activities
- Ensure adherence to applicable codes, standards, and safety regulations
- Support troubleshooting and resolution of electrical system issues as needed
- Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering or a related field
- 2-6 years of electrical engineering experience supporting industrial, infrastructure, or energy projects
- Experience supporting electrical project work within large-scale facilities or operations
- Strong understanding of electrical systems, equipment, and engineering principles
- Ability to work collaboratively in a project-based engineering environment
- Experience within oil & gas, utilities, or energy infrastructure environments
- Power plant experience
- Experience supporting electrical systems in large industrial or processing facilities
