What are the responsibilities and job description for the Territory Sales Manager position at Global Supply?
We are a fast growing supplier of industrial products, focused on a Vendor Managed Inventory (VMI) business model. We are seeking a new Territory Sales Manager to manage our existing base of sales and expand it with strong reliable customers.
Come take charge of an active region with a robust existing sales base. Further grow the region with the support of a great internal team. Enjoy sales and commission in your first two weeks in the role. We will support and train you so you can succeed in this role for many years to come.

Duties and Responsibilities
- Conduct regular customer visits to support existing VMI programs. Re-stock and Create new orders on each visit.
- Support customer site organization
- Provide customers with quotes and technical data as needed.
- Prospect and develop new customer relationships
- Meet with customer management to measure satisfaction and expand business opportunities.
- Follow up relentlessly on all incoming sales leads
- Learn all company products and become a valuable technical asset to customers and potential customers.
- Meet regularly with inside support team to review accounts, required inventory levels and new products requested.
Required Experience/Traits
- 5 Year of Industrial Distribution Sales is Preferred. Experience in the Fastener Industry is a nice plus
- Proven track record of sales growth success
- Willingness to cold call regularly to develop new business
- Self-motivated individual with a great work ethic.
- Great Customer Service skills
- Highly organized
Required Physical/Mental/Other
- Ability to work at customer sites safely
- Ability to climb flights of stairs
- Able to lift 25lb in weight
- Valid Driver License
Travel & Schedule
- Position is 75% local travel in the greater Boston and surrounding areas. Overnight stays are not common.
