Role Description

This full-time, on-site Basketball Trainer role is based in Mount Airy, MD. The Basketball Trainer will provide expert coaching and training to student-athletes to develop their basketball skills and overall athletic performance. Daily responsibilities include planning and leading practice sessions, fostering personal and athletic growth, offering one-on-one coaching as needed, and maintaining an engaging environment for athletes. The Basketball Trainer will also collaborate with other coaches and staff to ensure the execution of high-quality training programs aligned with Global Squad’s values.

Qualifications

• Proficiency in Basketball Coaching and Coaching techniques to ensure effective skill development
• Strong foundational knowledge of Basketball and Training methodologies
• Exceptional Communication skills for engaging with athletes, parents, and staff
• Passion for mentoring and inspiring athletes to achieve their full potential
• Previous experience in an athletic coaching or training role is highly preferred
• Ability to foster a positive and inclusive environment that aligns with Global Squad's core values
