Role Overview
We are looking for a Salesforce Release Manager to lead end-to-end release management, DevOps processes, and CI/CD pipelines across multiple Salesforce orgs and product teams. This role will ensure high-quality, secure, and predictable deployments while coordinating across development, QA, and business stakeholders.
Key Responsibilities
- Own Salesforce release lifecycle (planning, scheduling, deployment, and post-release support)
- Manage CI/CD pipelines using tools like Gearset (chatgpt://generic-entity?number=0)
- Coordinate releases across multiple teams, orgs, and environments (Dev, QA, UAT, Prod)
- Handle metadata deployments (Apex, LWC, Flows, Profiles, Permission Sets)
- Ensure code quality, testing, and deployment standards are met
- Manage release calendars, change control, and go/no-go decisions
- Troubleshoot deployment issues and lead rollback/recovery if needed
- Maintain documentation, audit logs, and compliance requirements
Required Skills
- Strong Salesforce platform knowledge (Sales/Service Cloud, metadata, security)
- Hands-on experience with CI/CD and DevOps tools (Gearset preferred)
- Solid understanding of Git/version control and branching strategies
- Experience with complex deployments and environment management
- Ability to coordinate across multiple teams and manage dependencies
Preferred Qualifications
- Salesforce certifications (Admin, Platform Developer, Architect any)
- Experience in multi-org Salesforce environments
- Exposure to integration deployments (APIs, middleware like MuleSoft)
- Knowledge of DevOps best practices and automation
