Global Service Resources, Inc., a leading Healthcare staffing company has an opening for Unit Support Assistant at Olive-View UCLA Medical Center located in Sylmar, CA.
Hours :
Day Shift 7am-3 : 30pm
Evening Shift 3pm-11 : 30am
JOB DESCRIPTION
Answer patient calls and direct them to the appropriate nursing staff
Assist with patient admissions, transfers, and discharges
Stock supplies and maintain inventory of medical equipment
Complete assigned clerical tasks, such as data entry and filing
Assist with patient hygiene and grooming, as needed
Take messages and forward them to the relevant parties
Maintain records of customer interactions and transactions
Ensure customers’ satisfaction by providing accurate information in a timely manner
Follow communication procedures and standards
JOB REQUIREMENTS
Must be fluent in Spanish.
Must have at least 1 year of related experience.
Must have hospital experience.
Possess a current Basic Life Support (BLS) certification from an American Heart Association.
