Qualifications
- Education: Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Chemical Engineering or a related field.
- Experience: Minimum of 8 years in process engineering with proven expertise in hygienic process design. Experience with cultured dairy products and aseptic processing is highly preferred.
- Technical Skills: Proficiency with process simulation software, CAD tools, and other engineering applications. Knowledge of PLCs and logic controls for manufacturing equipment is a plus.
- Problem-Solving: Strong analytical skills with a demonstrated ability to troubleshoot complex issues and deliver innovative, practical solutions.
This role isn’t just about designing processes—it’s about rethinking how dairy operations run. The Engineer will take ownership of unit operations, equipment design, and cutting-edge manufacturing technologies, bringing both technical expertise and hands-on start-up support to the table.
Key Responsibilities
- Process Design & Development: Lead the design and optimization of dairy processing systems, ensuring compliance with regulatory standards and best practices in hygienic design.
- Cross-Functional Collaboration: Work closely with Capital Project Managers, Operations, Quality, and other partners to integrate process engineering solutions seamlessly across the organization.
- Risk Management: Anticipate and address technical, safety, and reliability risks throughout project execution.
- Documentation & Specifications: Prepare and maintain process flow diagrams, technical specifications, and progress reports to ensure clarity and consistency.
- Stakeholder Communication: Act as a primary technical liaison with contractors, vendors, and regulatory agencies.
- Vendor & Site Support: Provide on-site and vendor support as needed, including occasional travel.
Salary : $145,000 - $195,000
