Key Responsibilities
Leadership & Team Management
- Lead and supervise maintenance mechanics and technicians.
- Interview, hire, train, and develop maintenance personnel.
- Plan, assign, and prioritize daily maintenance activities.
- Conduct performance evaluations and provide coaching and feedback.
- Address employee concerns and resolve workplace issues.
- Foster a positive, accountable, and team-oriented work environment.
Maintenance & Reliability
- Develop, implement, and monitor preventive maintenance programs.
- Ensure timely completion of corrective and preventive maintenance activities.
- Direct maintenance personnel in troubleshooting and equipment repairs.
- Drive equipment reliability and uptime through effective maintenance practices.
- Ensure equipment operates at designed performance and quality standards.
- Develop and manage maintenance work schedules.
Parts & Inventory Management
- Enforce parts room and inventory control procedures.
- Ensure critical spare parts and maintenance materials are available when needed.
Safety & Food Safety
- Enforce all maintenance safety policies and procedures.
- Promote safe work practices throughout the maintenance department.
- Support food safety, sanitation, and regulatory compliance initiatives.
- Ensure proper use of personal protective equipment (PPE).
Systems & Continuous Improvement
- Utilize and maintain maintenance management systems, including CMMS platforms.
- Monitor equipment performance through production and maintenance tracking systems.
- Analyze maintenance data to identify improvement opportunities.
- Support continuous improvement efforts to increase equipment reliability and efficiency.
Additional Responsibilities
- Maintain accurate maintenance records and documentation.
- Collaborate with Operations, Quality, and Engineering teams to support production goals.
- Perform other duties and special projects as assigned.
Qualifications
- Associate degree in a technical field, or equivalent combination of education and maintenance experience.
- Previous leadership or supervisory experience in a maintenance environment.
- Strong knowledge of preventive and predictive maintenance practices.
- Experience with continuous-motion packaging, filling, and palletizing equipment.
- Proficiency with CMMS and maintenance planning systems.
- Strong communication, leadership, organizational, and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced manufacturing environment
Salary : $85,000 - $100,000
