Duties
- Operate equipment such as reach trucks, forklifts, pallet jacks, and other heavy machinery to load, unload, and move materials safely and efficiently
- Use RF scanners and warehouse management systems to accurately pick, pack, and process customer orders
- Perform order picking and packing tasks with precision to meet quality standards and delivery deadlines
- Assist with shipping and receiving activities by verifying incoming and outgoing shipments and ensuring proper documentation
- Stock shelves, organize inventory, and maintain a clean, safe warehouse environment
- Conduct quality control checks on products and packaging to ensure accuracy and damage-free shipments
- Support warehouse distribution operations by loading trucks, unloading materials, and preparing items for shipment or storage
Skills
- Proven experience operating reach trucks, forklifts, pallet jacks, or other heavy equipment in a warehouse setting
- Familiarity with warehouse management systems (WMS) and RF scanners for order processing
- Strong knowledge of materials handling, order picking & packing, shipping & receiving procedures
- Mechanical aptitude with the ability to operate heavy machinery safely and perform basic maintenance if needed
- Excellent organizational skills with attention to detail for quality control and inventory accuracy
- Ability to lift heavy loads repeatedly while maintaining safety standards during load & unload tasks
- Prior experience in warehouse supervision or leadership roles is a plus but not required
