Responsibilities
- Operate the PTK31 crane safely and efficiently for material handling, equipment loading, and debris removal at multiple jobsite locations.
- Tow the PTK31 crane to and from jobsites using a company-provided fleet vehicle.
- Coordinate with project managers to schedule site visits and manage your own weekly work schedule based on project needs.
- Perform pre-operation inspections and routine maintenance checks on the crane and fleet vehicle to ensure safe operation.
- Follow all company, state, and federal safety protocols and DOT regulations.
- Assist with material staging and movement to support smooth field operations.
- Maintain accurate records of jobsite visits, crane usage, and any incidents or equipment issues.
- Represent Global Roofing Group professionally on job sites and communicate effectively with field crews and project teams.
- Experience operating cranes, preferably with PTK31 or similar models.
- Familiarity with towing trailers and operating vehicle-mounted crane systems.
- Ability to read and interpret load charts and follow lift plans safely.
- Strong organizational and time management skills, with the ability to self-schedule based on project requirements.
- Physically able to work outdoors in various weather conditions.
- OSHA 10/30 and NCCCO certification (or willingness to obtain) is a plus. Experience with telescopic boom-Fixed Cab (TSS)
