Global Rigging and Synthetics LLC is seeking a reliable, detail-oriented Accounting Specialist to join our growing team in Houma, Louisiana.
We are looking for an individual who takes pride in accuracy, organization, and professionalism and who can work independently while being part of a team.
Position: Accounting Specialist
Location: 1913 Coteau Rd., Houma, LA
Employment Type: Full-Time
Responsibilities
- Manage accounts payable and accounts receivable
- Prepare customer invoices and process vendor bills
- Enter and maintain accurate financial records
- Reconcile bank and credit-card accounts
- Monitor customer accounts and assist with collections
- Assist with monthly financial close and reporting
- Maintain accurate customer and vendor records
- Assist with payroll and other accounting-related administrative duties
- Prepare financial documentation and reports for management
- Work with outside accounting professionals as needed
- Maintain confidentiality of company and financial information
Qualifications
- Previous accounting or bookkeeping experience preferred
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy
- Proficiency with Microsoft Excel
- Experience with QuickBooks or other accounting software preferred
- Strong organizational and time-management skills
- Ability to prioritize tasks and meet deadlines
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Experience in industrial, construction, manufacturing, or distribution is a plus
