Role Description
This is a full-time, on-site Estimator/Project Manager role located in the Atlanta Metropolitan Area. The Estimator will be responsible for preparing accurate and detailed cost estimates through Xactinate for restoration projects, analyzing project requirements, at times reviewing blueprints, and collaborating and negiotating with adjusters and clients. Additional responsibilities include onsite inspections, creating project schedules, running projects and maintaining strong communication with insurance company and clients to ensure project goals are met.
Qualifications
- Proficiency in cost estimation, budgeting, and project analysis
- Strong understanding of construction and restoration processes and materials
- Proficient with Xactimate estimation software and tools
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills for stakeholder interactions and teamwork
- Attention to detail and strong organizational skills to ensure cost accuracy
- Ability to conduct onsite inspections and produce comprehensive project reports
- Proven experience in commercial or residential construction or restoration projects
- Familiarity with local building codes and regulations
- Bachelor’s degree in a related field such as construction management or engineering is a plus
- Problem-solving skills and ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment
- Valid driver’s license and ability to travel to project sites as required
