We are representing a highly respected, growth-oriented mechanical contractor seeking a proven Director of Operations to take control of field execution, labor strategy, and operational performance across multiple projects.
This is not a maintenance role. The company wants a builder, a leader, and a change agent.
You will have full authority over:
- Field operations for HVAC, piping, plumbing, and mechanical construction
- Workforce planning, labor productivity, and crew deployment
- Project execution, schedule performance, and profitability
- Development and accountability of Project Managers and Superintendents
- Safety, operational discipline, and continuous improvement
We are looking for someone who:
- 10 years in a senior operations or project leadership role
- Has 15 years in mechanical contracting or construction operations
- Has led large non-union field organizations
- Bachelors Degree preferred, equivalent hands-on experience may substitute
- Knows how to drive margin, productivity, and accountability
- Commands respect in the field and in the boardroom
- Is ready to make an immediate, visible impact
