Special Education Case Manager/Teacher

Job Title: Case Manager/TeacherReports To: Compliance Manager or Regional DirectorAbout the Role:We’re looking for a thoughtful and organized Case Manager to support special education programs across our school partners. You’ll guide IEP and 504 processes, ensure compliance with federal and state requirements, supervise special education staff, and collaborate closely with teachers, families, and administrators. Your work helps students receive the services and support they need to be successful.What You’ll Do:Coordinate IEP and 504 meetings, maintain timelines, and ensure full compliance with state and local guidelinesCreate, maintain, and audit records and documentation to meet legal and administrative requirementsAssess and monitor student needs and help design individualized instructional methods and supportsOversee special education services and ensure they are delivered as outlined in the IEPCollaborate with the District Discipline Team to ensure fair and appropriate interventions for students with behavior concernsAddress problems or emergencies through investigation, data review, and action planningSupport the Testing Coordinator by ensuring students have proper documentation for accommodationsSupervise and support special education teachers and paraprofessionals including scheduling, onboarding, coaching, and performance improvement when neededEnsure staff understand and follow FERPA and other state or federal requirementsBuild strong relationships with teachers, administrators, families, and outside agencies to support student needsLead departmental meetings and participate in committees, trainings, and school-based initiativesPerform other related duties as assignedWhat We’re Looking For:Master’s degree in special education, curriculum and instruction, or a related field (degree may be in progress)Illinois PEL with LBS1 endorsementRelevant certification such as Supervisor, Administrator, or Director of Special Education (may be in progress)At least three years of special education experienceStrong understanding of special education requirements in K-12 settingsExcellent communication skills with careful attention to detailAbility to build strong, collaborative relationships and provide clear guidance to staffHigh level of integrity, professionalism, and confidentialityStrong problem solving skills, logical thinking, and comfort working with dataAbility to manage time effectively and handle multiple prioritiesProficiency with Microsoft Office and other web-based toolsWhy You’ll Love Working Here:Make a direct impact on students, families, and school communitiesJoin a supportive and collaborative leadership teamGrow your skills through ongoing professional developmentWork for a values-driven organization committed to empathy, clarity, and high-quality servicePhysical Requirements:Extended periods of sitting and computer workRegular walking throughout school buildings to meet with staff and studentsWork in varied school environments including classrooms and common areasOur Core Values: Make a Positive Impact, Lead With Love, Seek Understanding, Learn & Grow, Dream BigGlobal Psychological is committed to equal employment opportunities to employees and applicants regardless of race, color, religion, sex, national origin, age, disability, genetic information, gender identity or expression, or veteran status.Apply today to support educators, strengthen teams, and help students thrive!

Salary : $80,000 - $90,000
