We are seeking an experienced CNC Programmer to join our precision machining team. This role will support a diverse mix of advanced equipment including mills, 5-axis, lathes, and Swiss equipment
Key Responsibilities:
- Program complex components for 5-axis, mills, lathes, and Swiss equipment
- Develop, optimize, and prove out CNC programs for high-precision production
- Collaborate with engineering, quality, and production to ensure efficient setups and repeatable processes
- Troubleshoot machining issues and drive continuous improvement in cycle time, tooling, and quality
- Maintain accurate documentation and revision control for all programs
Qualifications:
- 3 years of CNC programming experience (multi-axis preferred)
- Strong knowledge of 5-axis machining, precision tolerances, and complex geometries
- Experience with Swiss, 5-axis, lathes, and mills machines (any combination welcome)
- Proficiency in G-code and CAM systems (Mastercam, Esprit, SolidWorks, etc.)
- Ability to read and interpret engineering drawings, GD&T, and process documentation
- Strong problem-solving and communication skills
- US citizen or legal permanent resident
Preferred Skills:
- Experience with tight-tolerance aerospace, medical, or high-precision components
- Knowledge of tooling strategies, work holding, and automation
- Lean/continuous improvement mindset
