This role will own and evolve the systems that run the business, with a primary focus on ERP and AI-driven transformation. This is not a traditional IT leadership role. You will be responsible for turning Epicor into a competitive advantage, leading practical AI adoption, and driving the transition from manual processes to scalable, data-driven operations. We are looking for a builder and operator — someone who can move between strategy and execution, simplify complexity, and deliver systems that are actually used by the business.

Key Responsibilities
Epicor ERP Ownership (Primary)
- Own the strategy, performance, and roadmap for Epicor ERP
- Lead enhancements, upgrades, integrations, and user adoption across manufacturing, finance, and supply chain
- Drive process standardization and system-driven execution (not workarounds)
- Ensure data integrity, reporting accuracy, and system reliability
- Build and lead internal/external Epicor resources
- Define and execute a practical AI strategy tied to real business outcomes
- Identify and implement use cases across:
- Production planning
- Forecasting
- Reporting & analytics
- Workflow automation
- Pilot, validate, and scale AI solutions with measurable ROI
- Embed AI into daily operations, not isolated experiments
- Own ERP-centered system architecture across the enterprise
- Lead integrations between Epicor and:
- HR systems (Workday or equivalent)
- CRM
- Shop floor / MES systems
- Improve data architecture, reporting, and decision visibility
- Reduce system complexity and technical debt
- Own the IT portfolio roadmap across ERP, AI, and systems initiatives
- Establish clear KPIs, reporting cadence, and delivery discipline
- Drive predictable execution across multiple concurrent initiatives
- Ensure alignment between business priorities and technology delivery
- Deep Epicor ERP experience (required) - Proven ownership of Epicor in a manufacturing environment, including optimization, enhancements, integrations, or full-scale implementations
- Demonstrated ability to drive ERP-enabled process transformation Experience moving organizations from manual or fragmented processes to system-driven execution
- Experience defining and implementing AI, automation, or advanced analytics solutions Ability to identify practical use cases and deliver measurable business impact (not experimentation)
- Strong program management capability Proven track record managing multi-year, cross-functional initiatives with clear KPIs, timelines, and accountability
- Experience with enterprise systems architecture and integration Including ERP, HR systems (e.g., Workday), CRM, and shop floor/MES systems
- Background in manufacturing, industrial, or operational environments (required) Strong understanding of how systems support production, supply chain, and shop floor operations
- Ability to operate as both:
- Strategic leader (roadmaps, prioritization, executive alignment)
- Hands-on operator (problem solving, system decisions, execution)
- Proven ability to drive user adoption and change management Ensuring systems are not just implemented, but embedded into daily operations
- Strong communication and influence skills Able to work across operations, finance, engineering, and executive leadership
- Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, Engineering, or related field (required)
- Master’s degree (MBA, MS IT, Engineering Management) preferred
- Cloud, AI, or cybersecurity certifications a plus
