" The surgery department's mission is to provide medically advanced, high-quality surgical services for all patients. Surgeons and other healthcare professionals in the surgery department at Company work with advanced equipment, tools and techniques for both inpatient and outpatient surgical procedures. A variety of same-day surgery procedures can be performed. Surgeons use both traditional and minimally invasive surgical techniques. The highly-trained staff provides diagnostic and surgical procedures 24 hours a day, seven days a week, to meet the surgical needs of each patient.
ESSENTIAL KNOWLEDGE / SKILLS
Ø Effective written and verbal communication skills in the English language.
Ø Ability to calculate figures and amounts such as proportions, percentages, area (BSP), circumference and volume.
Ø Ability to define problems, collect data, establish facts, and draw valid conclusions.
MINIMUM ESSENTIAL EXPERIENCE
Ø One (1) year operating room experience in an acute care setting.
Ø Preferred: Scrub, Circulate, CNOR
MINIMUM ESSENTIAL EDUCATION
Ø Associates Degree
Ø Completion of an accredited Registered Nursing program.
