Global Pest Service's is located in Las Vegas and services the greater Las Vegas area. Our company provides pest control services for commercial and residential customers.

Responsibilities and Duties

Position Functions and Duties

• Read and understand the customer service invoice and agreement to properly provide service
• Follow daily schedule, insuring timely arrival at each account.
• Inspect buildings and structures to determine the correct treatment options to control and prevent pests, and implement those options effectively.
• Research information when necessary to assist in identifying the pest and for correct product selection.
• Determine the most effective and efficient treatment plan.
• Effectively communicate information to customers, educating customers on what services need to be performed, what treatment procedures were utilized, pest control facts and on pro-active things that the customer can do to assist in pest prevention.
• Apply treatment safely and at specific locations and dilutions according to company standards and label requirements. Inspect work for completeness, quality and accuracy.
• When necessary open targeted areas of the structure to gain access to infestations.
• Continually build relationships with customers and at all times promote excellent customer service, quality, integrity and professionalism.
• Attend all required meetings.
• Complete all required service records, customer reports, and time records, in accordance with company procedures and state/federal regulations.
• Stay abreast to current industry trends, regulations, technical data, new products, safety standards, materials and equipment.
• Maintain compliance with all company and state/federal safety standards, regulations, equipment and procedures
• Inform management of any customer issues or concerns that are not completely resolved to the satisfaction of the customer.
• Report to management any damage that occurs as a result of treatment. Provide necessary information in order for appropriate repairs to be made.
• Properly maintain all service equipment, including but not limited to vehicles, and immediately refer any problems to management. Clean and maintain all equipment and vehicles regularly and as required.
• Prepare all equipment and vehicle prior to beginning each day.
• Perform all other duties as assigned.

Qualifications and Skills

Requirements

• Clean Driving Record & Current Valid Driver’s License
• Pass a Background check and Drug Test
• Must be 21 years of age or older
• Must have 1 year pest management experience

Experience, Education and Required Skills

Applicant must have a high school diploma or equivalent. Previous pest management experience with knowledge of pest management technique and procedures is preferred but not required. Prior experience establishing professional relationships with customers is required.

Applicant must possess exceptional verbal communication skills. Must display a professional image, outgoing personality, confidence, kindness and problem solving abilities. Must have a positive demeanor and ability to interact with others in a pleasing, professional way. Must be highly motivated, self-driven and capable of working both independently and as a team. Must have good organizational and time management skills. Must possess the desire and ability to work around all types of pests in all types of situations.

Physical and Mental Demands

• Ability to learn technical industry related data
• Capable of utilizing a cell phone
• Capable of sitting in a service vehicle or at a customer’s home or business
• Requires constant mental alertness
• Requires frequent walking
• Requires frequent standing, bending, stooping and reaching
• Requires frequent ability to lift up to 50 pounds and sometimes more
• Requires the ability to work at various heights and being capable of using ladders
• Requires the ability to work on roofs
• Ability to work in confined spaces
• Ability to wear a respirator while performing work tasks
• Requires the ability to work in both very noisy as well as quite areas
• Requires correct vision and hearing to normal range
• Requires the ability to operate a vehicle and other mechanical equipment
• Daily work is performed in heated/air conditioned facilities as well as in non-heated/air conditioned facilities and outdoors with exposure to all elements for extended periods of time
• Work is performed utilizing many different variations of materials and equipment
