Job Summary
We are seeking a highly skilled Master Electrician to join our team in Scottsbluff, Nebraska. This role involves overseeing electrical installations, troubleshooting complex systems, ensuring code compliance, and mentoring journeyman and apprentice electricians. Key Responsibilities
- Install, maintain, and repair residential, commercial, and/or industrial electrical systems
- Interpret blueprints, schematics, and technical drawings
- Ensure all work complies with NEC, state, and local electrical codes
- Diagnose and resolve complex electrical issues efficiently
- Coordinate with project managers, inspectors, and other trades
- Perform job planning, material takeoffs, and quality control
- Maintain a safe, clean, and organized work environment
- Conduct inspections and approve completed electrical work
Qualifications
- Valid Master Electrician license (Nebraska or ability to obtain Nebraska licensure)
- Minimum 3 years of experience in the electrical trade (master-level experience preferred)
- Strong knowledge of NEC and local electrical codes
- Proven leadership and supervisory experience
- Excellent troubleshooting and problem-solving skills
- Ability to read and interpret blueprints and schematics
- Strong communication and customer service skills
- Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation
Preferred Skills
- Experience with commercial and/or industrial electrical systems
- Experience estimating jobs and managing projects
- Familiarity with energy-efficient systems, generators, or advanced controls
