Summary of This Role

What Part Will You Play?
- For existing clients, conducts penetration analysis and reviews influencing factors and strategy of client to determine action plan, in partnership with the Customer Success Managers.
- Assesses the customer's business and reviews solution options with the client, considering the client's vision, goal, objectives, pain points and target state and makes recommendations of products and services to meet their needs.
- Identifies and orchestrates the correct internal resources, such as within pricing, IT, implementation, etc. to meet with the client at the appropriate time based on the objectives of the client. Conducts ongoing communication with various internal groups.
- Understands the dynamics of the industry, is knowledgeable regarding key trends in the market and discusses with clients regarding current and developing products. Conducts consultative thought leadership with prospects and helps clients with possible solutions.
- In collaboration with Customer Success Managers and consulting team members, assists with the sales presentation and sales process, including identifying the objectives of the meeting, setting the agenda, and following-up on action items as needed.
- The Sales Manager is responsible for closing the sale to include complex deals and agreement negotiations. Many services require vendor flowdowns and complex agreements. Sales Managers must have strong contracting and pricing skills to include a full understanding of client contracts and how pricing of a service could create revenue cannibalization.
- Hybrid (2-3 days a week onsite), based out of our Alpharetta or Columbus, GA offices
Minimum Qualifications
- Bachelor's Degree or Relevant Experience - Typical fields include Communications, IT, or Engineering; Combination of relevant training and/ or experience in lieu of degree. Relevant experience in product sales, product management, or consulting.
- Typically Minimum 8 Years Relevant Exp
- B2B sales experience in the Financial Services industry, specifically focused on Card Issuing product and services sales is preferred.
- Understanding of the products and services TSYS has to offer and how they can be leveraged to meet client needs. This includes helping clients with business case justification, ROIs, and general guidance on best practices.
- Prior sales experience or experience in supporting technology products
- Excellent communication and presentation skills - ability to present to IT teams, business teams and, executives
- Strong foundational knowledge in information technology, including hardware, software, and IT services
- Comprehensive business knowledge to create realistic sales projections
- Negotiation Skills - Ability to close a deal
- Ability to lead a customer through the sales process, determining needs, and closing the sale
- Interpersonal skills to liaise with other departments and people within the organization
- Works on significant and unique issues where analysis of situations or data requires an evaluation of intangibles
- Exercises independent judgment in methods, techniques and evaluation criteria for obtaining results
- Creates formal networks involving coordination among groups, both internal and external
- Supervision - Acts independently to determine best sales approach and how to best close deals
- Travel expected up to 25% of the time
