Additional Requirements:
- Must be able to lift 50 pounds daily.
- Must be willing to work in shipping, receiving, and delivering packages.
- Will perform mail runs through and between buildings on campus.
- Must be willing to become forklift certified
- Demonstrates a functional knowledge of high-speed printers, binding machines, fax machines, and scanners, trains new hires on equipment operations and features, and completes printing and duplication requests for team members located in area of responsibility.
- Inventories and may order mailroom supplies for area of responsibility, to ensure paper, binding machine supplies (spines, covers, and indexes) and general office items are stocked. Performs routine maintenance such as installation of maintenance kits (i.e. fuser assembly, transfer roller, and tray pick up rollers), cleans feeder and drum, etc. Troubleshoots and resolves moderate to complex equipment issues (i.e. clears difficult paper jams, frees up additional printer memory for large print job) and/or escalates to internal network team or external vendor. Assists in testing the set-up of new equipment, such as running configuration reports and test print pages from equipment menu option.
- Picks up, reviews, sorts, and distributes mail, packages, and documents for assigned area of responsibility. Sorts and bundles outgoing interoffice correspondence by location for delivery by mail courier to area locations or other express delivery services for remote locations. Records incoming express packages and secures signature upon delivery. Monitors and documents damaged and tampered mail. Tracks and reports volumes associated with mailroom and print facility activities.
- Assists employees with printer naming convention to connect to appropriate mailroom printer. Troubleshoots and resolves low level connectivity issues.
