Van Driver

Company Location

The administrative offices of our Global Parking Systems – MSY are located on the ground floor of the Economy Parking Garage in Kenner, Louisiana.

Scope of Position

This is a part-time, flexible position.

The Global Parking Systems - Van Driver position is responsible for providing safe and quick customer service to the passengers that utilizes the Economy Parking Garage for parking services.

Job Duties and responsibilities include but are not limited to:

The individual selected to the Global Parking Systems - Van Driver position must satisfactorily perform the duties and responsibilities listed below:

· Safely transport customers luggage from the old airport terminal in the Economy Parking Garage to the drop off point located at the new airport terminal

· Obey all posted traffic laws and signs on and off proper while driving

Starting Pay Rate

The starting rate for the Global Parking Systems - Van Driver position is $15.50 hourly.

Position Status and Availability

The individual selected for the Global Parking Systems – Van Driver position must be available to work a part-time shift flexible shift from Thursday – Sunday including holidays.

Certifications and Licenses

The individual selected for the Global Parking Systems - Van Driver position must possess a valid Louisiana driver’s license and must not have been issued any driving citations within the last two (2) years.

Position Requirements

The individual selected for the Global Parking Systems - Van position must possess:

· Prior driving experience

· Strong customer service skills

· The ability to comply with company’s policies and procedures

· The ability to speak clearly and work well other employees

· The ability to work scheduled shift

· Willingness to work outside in extreme weather conditions (cold, hot, rainy)

· A valid Louisiana driver’s license and no driving violations within the last two (2) years

Physical Requirements

The individual selected to the Global Parking Systems – Van Driver position must meet the physical requirements listed below:

· Ability to sit, stand and walk for long periods of time (up to 6 or 8 hours, less break)

· Ability to withstand extreme weather temperatures

· Ability to chalk automobile tires

· Ability to sprint short distances

Education Requirements

The individual selected for the Global Parking Systems - Van Driver position should possess:

· A high school diploma or a general equivalency diploma (GED)
