We offer an extensive training program to provide you with the knowledge you need to be successful. The ideal candidate will possess the ability to use a ruler or tape measure in imperial and metric increments and the ability to work a 12-hour shift (6:00 PM -6:00 A.M.) with a 4/3 rotation schedule.
Converter Operator
- Produces bags using converting machines.
- Complies with customer specifications for each job, measuring bags as specified and checking quality as required.
- Conforms with standard operating procedures, quality procedures, and safety procedures, including but not limited to personal protective equipment, job hazard assessments, machine guarding, material handling, safe lifting, plant safety rules, and environmental regulations.
- Records production data as required.
- Assembles cardboard boxes, and packs bags in boxes.
- Minimizes waste generated as a result of the production process and complies with sustainability goals.
- Reports any equipment issues or non-conforming product issues to the lead operator or supervisor.
- Assists in training other operators as needed.
- Other responsibilities, as assigned.
REQUIRED KNOWLEDGE AND SKILLS:
· The skill to measure up to 1/16 of an inch and in millimeters.
· The ability to learn, navigate and use proprietary company equipment and software.
· Team-oriented safety-conscious candidates coupled with strong people skills are highly desirable.
· Prior experience in a manufacturing environment is preferred.
Pay: Weekly pay!!
- Starting base payrate is $15/hour, the rate is commensurate upon relevant manufacturing experience.

EDUCATION/WORK EXPERIENCE:
- High school diploma or equivalent
PHYSICAL DEMANDS:

Employee must be able to stand for 12-hour shifts, on a concrete floor and to work in non-climate-controlled environment.
