Key Responsibilities
- Lead and manage enterprise-wide physical security operations across multiple U.S. offices and facilities
- Develop and execute comprehensive security strategies, policies, and procedures
- Oversee executive protection coordination for senior leadership and key personnel
- Manage security vendors, guard force operations, and contracted protective services
- Conduct threat assessments, vulnerability assessments, and security audits
- Develop and maintain emergency response, crisis management, and business continuity protocols
- Coordinate investigations involving workplace incidents, threats, fraud, or security breaches
- Build and maintain strong relationships with federal, state, and local law enforcement agencies
- Oversee access control systems, surveillance technologies, alarm systems, and related security infrastructure
- Prepare executive-level reports, risk briefings, and strategic security recommendations
- Ensure compliance with applicable financial industry security standards and corporate policies
- Lead, mentor, and develop security personnel and regional security managers
- Prior law enforcement experience required, preferably in a supervisory, command-level, investigative, or specialized operational capacity
- Significant corporate security leadership experience within a large organization, financial institution, or similarly complex environment
- Demonstrated experience managing multi-site security operations
- Strong leadership, organizational, and crisis management capabilities
- Experience overseeing executive protection operations and protective intelligence initiatives
- Proven ability to manage sensitive incidents with professionalism and discretion
- Strong understanding of physical security systems, risk mitigation strategies, and emergency response planning
- Excellent communication and executive briefing skills
- Ability to travel domestically as needed
- Experience within banking, finance, or other highly regulated industries
- Military leadership experience is a plus
- Professional security certifications such as CPP, PSP, PCI, or similar credentials preferred
- Experience managing large security budgets and vendor contracts
