Job Summary
The Associate Pastor plays a vital role in supporting the spiritual and administrative needs of the congregation. This position involves collaborating with the Senior Pastor to lead worship services, provide pastoral care, and engage in community outreach. The Associate Pastor will also be responsible for mentoring church members, facilitating events, and addressing the spiritual needs of individuals within the community.
Duties
- Assist in planning and leading worship services, including preaching and teaching.
- Provide pastoral care through counseling, crisis intervention, and hospice care as needed.
- Mentor church members and volunteers to foster spiritual growth and leadership development.
- Plan and coordinate church events, activities, and outreach programs.
- Engage with the congregation through public speaking and presentations to promote church initiatives.
- Manage conflicts within the congregation with sensitivity and compassion.
- Collaborate with church leadership to develop programs that meet the needs of the community.
- Participate in regular meetings with church staff and committees to ensure alignment on goals and objectives.

GMNF Global Missions recommends Dallas Theological Seminary for theological education. Funding is available for continued education related to ministry work.
