Overview
Our company "Global Metro Technologies" is seeking a dedicated and experienced OUTSIDE PLANT CONSTRUCTION Manager to oversee operations within our organization. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in OSP construction, with experience in managing teams and overseeing project delivery.
Duties:
- Run a crew of 10 - 12 laborers
- Interpret and analyze blueprints and construction drawings to ensure accurate implementation from crew members
- Monitor crew members to ensure quality control and contract compliance for assigned projects.
- Provide regular communication on inspection findings to equipment, potential issues at job sites, and overall project status throughout the day.
- Act as a safety observer on site, ensuring compliance with company safety programs and workmanship practices.
- Identify and report any deviations from construction standards, processes, and procedures.
Required Skills & Experience:
- 3 YEARS of experience in OUTSIDE PLANT CONSTRUCTION (underground bore work)
- 1 YEARS of experience and/or comprehensive knowledge of outside plant practices.. (Directional Drilling, Missiling, Utilities, Pulling or Burying Fiber Cable, etc)
- Knowledgeable with GA811, Utility Markings, OSHA standard..
- Ability to read and interpret design blueprints and construction drawings.
- Able to manage mutiple crews.
- Great managerial skills.
- Valid Drivers License
- MUST STAY IN GA, WE DO NOT OFFER PER DIEM
