What are the responsibilities and job description for the Metal Fabricator position at Global Metal Fabrication LLC?
Global Metal Fabrication is a fabrication shop for all types of metals. We do anything from structural steel buildings with stairs and railings to waste water treatment facilities with all aluminum and stainless steel fabrications. Starting wage is negotiable to experience and if you have done our type of quality work before. Sometimes we do field install of our fabricated products.
If you like a variety of work, have a great attendance record and have attention to detail please apply. Looking for a person who does his job and doesn't worry about what everyone else is doing. Just like to get a person who like's their job. We are a small shop and need people to work as a team. We have an opening for a fabricator/welder, has experience working with aluminum and building stairs is a plus.
Must be able to lay-out a set of stair stringers from shop drawings.
Pay is by experience in what we fabricate. Welding experience is a plus but being able to layout parts by yourself is a must.
Normal work week is 4 - 10 hour days 6 a.m. to 4:30 some Fridays

Responsibilities
- Read and interpret blueprints to understand project requirements.
- Utilize hand and power tools for metal fabrication tasks.
- Perform welding using various techniques such as MIG, TIG, and stick welding.
- Calculate measurements and angles using basic math skills.
- Collaborate with team members on construction sites for structural steel projects.
- Adhere to safety regulations, including OSHA 10, while working with metal and power tools.
