Current Hiring for Night Shift Drivers - 8 or 12 hour shifts available!
Starting Compensation : $10.00 per hour
We'rehiringDriversthat willrespond toemergency and/ornon-emergencyrequests fortransportationneeds anddeliver high-qualitycare,treatmentand customer serviceto patients.
Responsibilities:
- Drivers willrespond to operation and dispatchrequestsand usethe necessary tools,mapsandaddresses toefficiently transport customersto and from facilitiesin a timely manner.
- Clearly documenttripinformationdetailsandadhere to company policies and procedureswhile maintaining confidentiality and patient rights.
- Take pride inmaintaininga safeandcleanvehicleenvironment for patients, complete the regularmechanical checklist at the start of shifts and report any vehicle issues to the Fleet Manager as needed.
- Use appropriatecommunication methods including standard radio transmission codes to effectively respond and route patients and comply with the company's information security standards.
- Drivers willoperatetransportation equipment including stretcher, hydraulic lift, wheelchairas well asbeable to useprotective personal equipment and manage disposal of supplies as necessary.
- Work collaboratively and in a professional manner with all allied health and public safety personnel as well as your fellowdrivers and operations team.
MinimumRequiredQualifications:
- State Driver's License
- High school diploma or equivalent (GED)
- CPR card
- Driving record in compliance withcompanypolicy
- PassPhysical Agility Test
- Some work experience, preferably in healthcare
