Machine Shop Quality Assurance Inspector

GMW is seeking an experienced Dimensional Inspectors. Manual aerospace inspection experience along with AS9102 First Article Inspection experience is preferred. CMM experience is a plus. Qualified individuals who possess a strong work ethic, a positive attitude and are detailed oriented are encouraged to apply.

While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly required to communicate. The employee frequently is required to move, reach, lift, handle, feel, observe, inspect, detect, handle or position self to observe. Ability to lift or move up to 50lbs.

WORK ENVIRONMENT

This job operates in a machine shop environment. Work activities involve times where employees will be walking, standing, climbing, bending, lifting and sitting throughout the day. This position will include some time working around high-speed machinery and equipment and the use of any required safety equipment. There is exposure to machine oil, metal filings, unpleasant odors and noise. Job functions on and around mechanized equipment will present the need for alertness, accuracy and safety awareness.

Shifts available:

• NIghts: Mon-Thurs, 10-hour shifts - 3:45pm to 2:15am
• Weekends: Fri-Sun, 12-hour shifts - 5:00am to 5:30pm
• Days: Mon-Thurs, 10-hour shifts - 5:30am to 4:00pm

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $27.00 - $40.00 per hour
