Job Information:
C171004: Face-to-face classes: 1 adult
- Temporary while the current teacher is on vacation from February 19 - March 19
- Availability: Monday at 1:00 pm Friday at 1:00 pm
- Preferred start date: ASAP
- Lesson Frequency: 2 times per week
- Lesson Duration: 1.5h
- Lesson Location: Larchmont, New York
- Current target language level: Intermediate
- Native and other spoken languages: French
- Student’s language needs and goals: Wants an assessment in the first lesson to know her current level. Daily life and socializing. Needs preparation for TOEFL. Would need to study Nurse/medical vocabulary in the future
- Additional Information: Would like to have virtual lessons on occasion. Needs structured and traditional lessons
Responsibilities:
- Delivering tailored, dynamic, effective, and engaging lessons
- Developing curricula based on learners’ proficiency level and desired outcomes
- Monitoring students’ progress and guiding learners toward learning goals
- Communicating in an efficient, effective, and professional manner
Qualifications:
- Native or near-native written and spoken proficiency in the target language
- Certificate or degree in language teaching, education, instructional design, writing, language, linguistics, second-language acquisition, or related field
- Minimum of two years of experience
