Overview
Global Lounge is seeking customer service staff for a VIP lounge in Chicago O'Hare Int'l Airport with a strong background in customer experience, positive employee leadership skills, and solid business acumen.

Responsibilities may include
- Greet, receive and bid farewell customers at Front Desk in a friendly and professional manner
- Operate point of sales system and lounge access system.
- Maintain knowledge of all types of accesses to the lounge and ensure proper admission instructions are followed.
- Make boarding announcement.
- Meet and Greet passengers and escort them to lounge seating area as required and handle general passenger inquiries.
- Carry out regular checks of all areas of the Lounge.
- Offer high level of consistent, personalized, sincere and engaging service
- Proactively seek out passengers requiring additional customer service care and attention.
- Replenish food and beverages at buffet and refrigerators in a timely manner.
- Re-stock coffee cups, plates, bowls, glasses, napkins and cutlery especially peak hours as required
- Maintain cleanliness of coffee, bar and buffet areas at all times
- Communicate constantly with the kitchen to ensure product is ready for placement when required
- Clear all dirty dishes and make sure all tables are clean and assisting clients with any needs they may have.
- Maintain all the seating areas in order and furniture shall always be placed accordance to original design, TVs on at all times, volume maybe muted.
- Ensure the services, hygiene, cleanliness, and tidiness of the Lounge achieve total customer satisfaction and meet company standards.
- Wipe down tables and chairs continually
- Work closely with team members to meet and exceed customer’s service expectations.
- Ensure compliance with Company policies, procedures and service standards
- All services shall be performed on a regular basis to assure superior cleanliness
- Reports any unusual occurrences or requests to the supervisor or manager
- Must be able to handle multi-tasking assigned by immediate supervisor
- Additional duties as required
Requirements
- 1 to 2 years of customer service experience in hospitality industry
- Experience working in Airport is an asset.
- Proficient in the English language (verbal and written)
- Ability to speak 2nd language is an asset (French, Spanish)
- Ability to focus attention on guest needs, remaining calm and courteous at all times.
- Ability to work cohesively with fellow colleagues as part of a team
- Proficient or familiar with computerized systems
- Maintain high standards of personal appearance and grooming
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills
- Completion of high school, college or equivalent combination education and experience.
- Ability to work day, evening and night shifts any day of the week including weekends and holidays, flexibility in schedule preferred.
Job Types: Full-time, Part-time
Pay: $19.10 - $20.50 per hour
