Position Summary
We are seeking an IT Support Specialist to join the IT Department at our Plano, TX headquarters. This role supports daily technology operations across the organization, including computer setup and maintenance, software support, troubleshooting, and general IT assistance for multiple departments. The ideal candidate is a hands-on problem solver who communicates clearly, manages competing priorities well, and takes pride in keeping systems and people running smoothly.
Key Responsibilities
- Set up, configure, maintain, and repair company computers and related equipment
- Install, update, and troubleshoot software applications across departments
- Serve as a first point of contact for employee technical support requests
- Diagnose and resolve hardware, software, printer, network, and user-access issues
- Partner with teams across the company on technology-related needs and initiatives
- Document issues, resolutions, and recurring problems to strengthen internal knowledge and prevent repeat incidents
- Prioritize and manage multiple support requests simultaneously in a fast-paced environment
- Assist with reporting, data review, and special projects as assigned
Required Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent
- 3 years of hands-on experience with computer setup, maintenance, and repair
- Experience installing, configuring, and troubleshooting software
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office
- Strong problem-solving and critical thinking skills
- Ability to multitask and adjust priorities in a dynamic environment
- Clear, professional communication skills
- Ability to work on-site Monday through Friday, 8:00 AM to 5:00 PM
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience with IT ticketing systems
- Data analysis or reporting experience
- Experience with Microsoft Azure, Entra, or Intune
- Transportation Management System (TMS) experience
- Logistics, freight, or supply chain industry experience
