Job Title: High School Russian Teacher

Location: Kodiak Campus, Jacksonville, FL

Job Type: Full-Time | 10-Month Contract

Salary: Starting at $49,500 (based on experience)

Job Summary-

Global Leadership Academy is seeking a qualified and passionate High School Russian Teacher to provide standards-based instruction and support student achievement in world language acquisition. The ideal candidate will create an engaging, immersive classroom environment that develops students’ speaking, listening, reading, and writing skills in Russian.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities-

Deliver standards-aligned Russian instruction for high school students

Develop students’ proficiency in speaking, listening, reading, and writing

Incorporate cultural understanding to enhance language learning

Assess student progress and use data to inform instruction

Differentiate instruction to meet diverse student needs

Maintain a structured and positive classroom environment

Communicate regularly with parents/guardians regarding student progress

Collaborate with teachers and school staff

Participate in professional development and school meetings

Minimum Qualifications-

Bachelor’s degree from an accredited institution

Valid Florida Teaching Certificate in Russian (K–12) or related certification

Strong communication and classroom management skills

Preferred Qualifications-

3 years of teaching experience

Work Schedule-

Monday through Friday

8-hour shift
