Job Overview
We are seeking an Equipment Operator and warehouse assistant to join our small distribution/fabrication facility. You will be responsible for assisting in warehouse and production operations: operating a forklift, cutting plastic sheets on a CNC saw, and generally preparing orders to ship with an eye for accuracy. We can train for all operations. We are looking for someone reliable, with good math skills. Hours are flexible within M-F 7AM-5PM. Part Time is an option with at least 25 hours/wk or Full Time 35 hours per week which includes paid holidays, vacations, and sick days.

Duties
- Operate equipment including forklifts and pallet jacks to load, unload, move, and organize materials throughout the warehouse. Loading/unloading trucks.
- Manage order-picking processes to fulfill customer orders accurately and efficiently.
- Conduct/assist all maintenance on equipment
- Assist with shipping and receiving tasks by managing inbound and outbound shipments, ensuring proper documentation, and maintaining accurate records
- Support warehouse distribution activities by organizing pallets
- Work with warehouse supervisor to improve workflow efficiency, and implement safety procedures..
- Maintain a clean, safe work environment by following safety standards in production, reporting hazards promptly, and participating in safety training sessions.
Qualifications
- Be reliable and honest. We can train for just about anything else.
- Familiarity with shipping & receiving procedures along with experience in materials handling and manual handling techniques is helpful.
- Be comfortable with basic equipment maintenance
- Ability to perform heavy lifting safely while adhering to OSHA safety standards in production environments.
- Basic math skills for inventory counts, measurements, and data entry tasks.
- Prior experience in warehouse distribution or other warehouse roles is a plus but not required.
